A video of the accident shows the luxury car’s tires screeching before ramming into a Proton Perdana driven by a 53-year-old woman. The impact then caused the Perdana to overturn while the Lamborghini continued to collide with several other vehicles.

Fortunately, all the drivers involved in the accident only suffered minor injuries and were treated at Hospital Kuala Lumpur.

According to the Head of the Kuala Lumpur Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT), Assistant Commissioner Sarifudin Mohd. Salleh, the Lamborghini driver was heading towards the Pahang Roundabout when there was a row of vehicles that had stopped due to traffic congestion.

The 42-year-old driver then failed to control his vehicle and collided with the Proton Perdana until it turned turtle.

“So far, the owners of three types of vehicles, namely a red Mazda, a black Nissan Serena and a blue Ford Ranger 2.0 four-wheel drive have been present to make a report,” he said.

“Further investigations will continue if there are other vehicles involved.”

He added that the Lamborghini driver later underwent a urine and alcohol test and was found negative for both tests.

“In this regard, the case is classified under Section 43 (1) of the Road Transport Act (APJ) 1987 and under Section 43 (1) APJ 1987,” he said.

“Those who have further questions or information can contact the Jalan Tun HS Lee Traffic Police Station at 03-2071 9999 or the JSPT Kuala Lumpur Hotline at 03-20260267/69 or any nearby police station.”
