“Alamak” – Japanese Trio Dancing to Malaysia’s Trending Raya Song is Making M’sians Super Excited!

After enjoying ketupat and rendang on Raya day, many Malaysians keep the celebration going by joining in on TikTok’s Raya trends. And what better way to create the videos than with viral raya songs!

A recent viral video making waves online shows a Japanese group dancing to the trending Malaysian TikTok raya song, “Alamak Raya Lagi”.

Alamak, the song has travelled all the way to Japan!

The catchy Hari Raya song “Alamak Raya Lagi!” by local trio De Fam has crossed national borders and gained global attention, thanks to the performance by the Japanese dance group Avantgardey.

@nona_avantgardey, alongside group members @oya_avantgardey and @macchan_avantgardey, posted the amusing video on their Instagram, and it even got noticed by one of the song’s original vocalists, @azirashafinaz.

It’s amazing that a Malaysian Eid Fitr song has made its way to Japan, and it’s heartwarming to see other countries getting in on the raya trend!

The video, currently going viral, has garnered 3M views over on Instagram at the time of writing!
