Being one of the most recognisable brands in the world, Tesla has made quite the splash among Malaysians since they’ve branched out onto our shores.

And now, they’re once again putting us on the edge of our seats with anticipation.

Taking to their official Instagram account, Tesla not so subtly announced the arrival of their futuristic, electric pickup truck, the Cybertruck.

“Stay tuned”, they simply wrote.

In the reel showcased, a huge vehicle could be seen covered by a tarp as it is being brought down from a plane.

Though, almost immediately, they revealed the vehicle to be a Cybertruck by removing the tarp and showcasing it’s body and front lights.

One netizen even insinuated that, should the Cybertruck end up on Malaysian roads, it might end up stealing the Perodua Myvi’s position as ‘King of the Road’.

According to a Twitter post by Tsla Chan, the Cybertruck is in Malaysia as part of Tesla’s tour of Asia. They’re now in Malaysia after touring through China, Japan, Thailand and more.

And while the Cybertruck is already listed on Tesla Malaysia’s website, it is still not up for sale YET.

You can check out Tesla’s teaser video of the Cybertruck here.
