“It brushes FOR you?!” This Next-Gen Electric Toothbrush Will Get M’sians Excited About Brushing Again

Electric toothbrushes may have been around for aeons (don’t quote us on that ?), but many Malaysians still aren’t fans of them, as they’re usually too costly, have weak brushing strength, and/or poorly designed. Well, that’s about to change, because there’s a new revolutionary electric toothbrush in town!

Introducing Laifen Wave, an innovative electric toothbrush that brushes your teeth for you with the world’s widest 60° oscillation, customisable brushing app and many, many more.

In fact, we were recently invited by Laifen to sample their game-changing toothbrush at their grand launch event in Aurum Theatre @ The Exchange TRX! Here’s why we think the Laifen Wave’s wealth of features makes it perfect for both serious and casual brushers.

1. Bye bye, manual toothbrushes!

What makes Laifen Wave stand out from other electric toothbrushes is their self-developed servo system, which allows dual-action vibration and ultra-wide 60° oscillation (three times wider than other brands wei!). This means it effortlessly simulates physical/vertical brushing while cleaning hard-to-reach areas, so you barely need to move a muscle.

And for even deeper cleaning, Laifen Wave’s servo system also generates consistent brushing strength and up to 66,000 vibrations per minute (the highest ever for an ‘e-toothbrush’), so you can rest easy knowing that your teeth are being cleaned SUPER thoroughly. ✨

To top it all off, Laifen Wave comes with three premium brush heads (Ultra-Whitening, Super-Clean, and Gum Care) which employ the most advanced copper-free tufting process, so they’re gentle on your teeth and gums whilst preventing bacterial build-up. And quite importantly, they’re stupendously affordable! (We’ll reveal the price below. ?)

2. Can even connect to your smartphone!

This one has to be our favourite feature from Laifen Wave: the ability to pair it with your smartphone and customise your brushing even more

Simply connect your Laifen Wave to the Laifen app, and then you can adjust three settings (Vibration Strength, Oscillation Range, and Oscillation Speed), 10 intensity levels, and two vibration strength modes, totalling up to 1,000 different combinations for all your dental care needs.

Aside from being able to tweak your settings in real-time, you can even save your preferred modes onto your Laifen Wave and access them without your smartphone – zero mafan-ness!

3. Designed with you in mind

Another thing we LOVED about the Laifen Wave, is that it looks as good as its features! It has a seamless futuristic pressure button design that eliminates gaps to prevent dirt and debris, which we feel would extend its longevity – pretty neat ah.

Plus, the Laifen Wave fits our hand PERFECTLY with a 142mm height, roughly the same size as a smartphone. Its compact design really made brushing easier and less taxing, while also making it the ideal travelling partner – take note ah, travellers!

Pair these with a 30-day battery life, super fast wired magnetic charge (only 2.5 hours to fully charge, others need 12 – 18 hours), low noise level of 55dB (60dB is the average level), and an IPX7 waterproof rating, and you have an electric toothbrush that’s easy to use yet oh so stylish.

4. The future of #selfcare

The Laifen Wave is truly the next generation of electric toothbrushes. With its pioneering servo motor, ability to customise your brushing with a smartphone, and shiny sleek design (just to name a few), more Malaysians can finally switch to using electric toothbrushes with the Laifen Wave and brush their teeth with ease~

But it’s not just about next level self-care routines – Laifen has also been going to great lengths to protect the environment, such as forging partnerships with the likes of The Forest Research Institute Malaysia to preserve the natural habitats of fireflies. To encourage users to lead eco-friendly lives and reduce carbon emissions, they use biodegradable packaging for all their products and eliminate plastic sleeves, all in the name of reducing carbon emissions and saving the planet.

It’s awesome when we have game-changing personal care appliances like the Laifen Wave to ease our daily lives by A LOT. In fact, we’re gonna be spoiled for choices very soon, as Laifen announced their plans to launch more than 40 Laifen Concept Stores across Malaysia this year, expanding upon their existing e-commerce.

On top of that, we got to try out Laifen’s new upcoming hair dryers that improve their predecessors: Laifen SE Lite and Laifen Mini, a super high-speed hair dryer, and a superbly compact hair dryer that’s perfect for travelling, respectively. Not to mention they’re as aesthetically pleasing as their electric toothbrush cousin.

Time to elevate your #selflove routine!

The Laifen Wave is available in glossy ABS White (RM329), sleek Aluminium Alloy (RM379), and shiny Stainless Steel (RM479), including the three interchangeable brush heads. You can also get the brush heads separately, priced at RM29.90 and RM54.90 for three and six brush heads, respectively.
