UPDATE: The man who was caught splashing Milo Ice at a toll operator on the KESAS Highway has been arrested after the victim made a report.

Subang Jaya District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Risikin Satiman said the man in his 30s was arrested after the victim came forward to make the report at 4.25pm on 5 October, reported Harian Metro.

Risikin said the police team conducted an investigation to track down the suspect and managed to arrest him. He added that the case is being investigated under Section 506 of the Penal Code.

Previously, the man was caught on CCTV footage splashing his drink at a toll booth operator on the KESAS Highway.

According to a post on Info Roadblock JPJ/POLIS, the toll booth operator said that the man had entered the lane at about 7.30am saying he wanted to top-up his Touch ‘n Go card.

But she told the man that her lane is only for Touch ‘n Go users and that top-up was only available at the next lane.

“He said he knows because he read the signboard, so I asked him to pay RM2 but he refused,” she wrote.

“I told him, ‘if you want, you can park your car here, get down and go to the top-up lane’.”

“But he got upset and got out of the car and looked into the toll booth and said, ‘usually the top-up lane is at the last booth’.

The toll booth operator then said that the man went to top-up his card and she assumed that everything was settled.

However, at 9.20am, the man appeared at her lane again. He got out of the car with a packet of Milo Ice, took a few sips and threw it at her saying “next time don’t mess with people” before driving away.

Here’s the video:

Netizens were quick to comment, urging the authorities to take notice of this incident while others said that the man cannot escape as there was CCTV footage to prove what he had done.
