A Singaporean woman recently discovered a bitter truth about her relationship, which had lasted nearly seven years.

While her boyfriend was supposedly on a work trip, she found out that he had checked into a hotel room in Malaysia with two female colleagues. Before learning that her partner was sharing a room with the two women, she had been told it was merely a company trip with his teammates.

Be that as it may, the woman sensed that something was amiss. She then checked his phone, and what she discovered left her heartbroken.

Not only did the trio share a room, they also went for meals and gym sessions together, despite the man previously telling his girlfriend that he was always tired.

The woman later confronted her boyfriend in hopes of getting clarity, but his response left her flabbergasted.

“The ladies wanted a bigger room, so it was cheaper.”

When questioned about why he was not upfront about the arrangement, the man said he “wasn’t sure how to tell her” and was afraid of her reaction. The woman admitted that she could be sensitive when it came to her boyfriend and interactions with the opposite sex, adding that her anxiety stemmed from a past incident, which she did not elaborate on.

The man then claimed that he and his female colleagues were in Malaysia to “look for an ex‑colleague” and said there was a reason they chose to share a room.

“The ladies wanted the bigger room, and they slept on different beds. In my mind, I could save a lot, and I’m not even attracted to them,” he told his partner.

Unfortunately, the woman admitted she was unsure if she could continue with the relationship. What hurt her most was not only the dishonesty, but the fact that it occurred more than six and a half years into their relationship.

Previously, a Malaysian man was also reported to have shared a hotel room with a female colleague during a “work trip” after the company allocated a budget for only one room.

The woman’s anonymous dilemma was shared on SGWhispers, where she said she merely wanted to vent her emotions.
