Can you believe it’s been TEN years since 5 Seconds of Summer (5SOS) last performed on Malaysian soil? Well, that’s all in the past now because the multi-platinum-selling band is back to woo local fans at the tail end of 2026.
5SOS returns to Malaysia on 17 November as part of their “EVERYONE’S A STAR!” World Tour, with a second show added on 4 December due to high demand.
Taking place at Unifi Arena, Bukit Jalil, this marks both the band’s long-awaited return to Kuala Lumpur and a massive celebration of 15 years together.
Here’s everything you need to know about 5SOS’s much-anticipated comeback:
1. Bringing you the best 5 seconds of your life
5SOS’s last local appearance dates back to their Sounds Live Feels Live tour in 2016, leaving Malaysian fans’ nostalgia for their early pop-rock era at an all-time high — a decade-long craving that is finally about to be satisfied.
The countdown to 5SOS’s KL stop has officially begun, with the band kick-starting the Australian and New Zealand leg of their world tour over the weekend. It’s the final run of their global tour before the quartet heads across the sea for their Asian stops.
2. First show SOLD OUT, second show selling fast
With over 18 million albums sold, six million concert tickets moved, and a trophy case spanning the ARIA, MTV VMA, and MTV EMA awards over the past 15 years, 5SOS’s superstar status is undisputed, and Malaysian fans proved it the second tickets dropped.
Their initial 17 November date sold out in less than 24 hours. Faced with overwhelming demand, the band added a second show on 4 December to ensure local fans don’t feel the FOMO on this decade-long reunion.
Whether you live for their explosive singles like “NOT OK,” “Boyband,” and the infectious “Telephone Busy,” or heart hidden gems such as “Flatline,” “Outer Space / Carry On,” or “Babylon,” every 5SOS fan will have the chance to listen to their favourite tracks LIVE on stage.
