The New Standard for AI Phones: Samsung Galaxy S26 is Now Up for Pre-Order in Malaysia

This just in, Samsung just unveiled its long-awaited Samsung Galaxy S26 series worldwide.

The announcement of Samsung’s latest flagship smartphone series took place earlier today (26 February) at Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event, which means the Samsung Galaxy S26, Samsung Galaxy S26+, and Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra are now available for pre-order in Malaysia.

Touted as “the new standard for AI phones”, here’s everything exciting about the newly-revealed Samsung Galaxy S26 series:

1. The next generation of AI in smartphones

The Samsung Galaxy S26 series is setting a new standard for AI phones, with AI features embedded deep within One UI to make your smartphone experience smarter and more intuitive.

By shifting from reactive AI to Agentic AI, you’ll be able to enjoy next-gen on-device AI that enables Galaxy Genie, Samsung’s built-in AI assistant powered by advanced AI models, to work proactively. This allows you to receive real-time summaries, translations, contextual suggestions, and intelligent reminders, while keeping data processing localised to the phone for speed and privacy.

That’s not all. The new and improved One UI is capable of adapting to your habits, such as:

• Predictive multitasking that anticipates app usage
• Smarter notification summaries that minimise spam
• AI-assisted tools across Notes, Calls, and Gallery to simplify everyday tasks.

And finally, the Samsung Galaxy S26 will debut a new feature called Privacy Display, a customisable privacy screen that hides your display from prying eyes. It’s an added quiet layer of security that not only keeps your display sharp and immersive, but also secure to your liking.

2. Next level mobile photography, day and night

With the combination of advanced camera hardware and intelligent AI processing, Samsung Galaxy S26’s upgraded camera is the result of larger sensors, refined optics, and enhanced stabilisation that deliver sharper images with richer detail.

It gets even better with the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra: it comes with an improved telephoto performance that creates clearer long-range shots, as well as advanced night videography that captures brighter, smoother low-light videos using AI-powered noise reduction and motion-aware processing.

Who knew phone cameras could still be better, let alone smarter?

3. Built for serious performance (and gaming)

Want to play high-fidelity mobile games worry-free? Samsung Galaxy S26 lets you do that with faster processors and improved GPU optimisation that noticeably enhance gaming performance, not to mention more efficient thermal management to keep your phone cool.

Add on high refresh rate AMOLED displays and smarter power control, and you have a phone that lets you game with ultra-smooth visuals and consistent performance for longer play sessions. A must-have for mobile gamers!
