Now that the interstate travel ban has been lifted, people are taking the opportunity to enjoy their long-overdue vacations with some of them deciding to enjoy the breezy air in Genting Highlands.
If you’re into fast food, specially customized burgers and sandwiches, then this is definitely for you!
What most of you may not know is that Five Guys has just opened its first Malaysian outlet yesterday (25 October) in Resorts World Genting, as announced via a post on their Facebook page.
Five Guys is one of the most popular fast-food chains in the United States of America which has been operational since 1986, with its very first outlet in Arlington, Virginia. Their trademark items are what you can expect from a fast-food chain – burgers and fries.
Their menus are straightforward, serving fries, sandwiches, burgers which come with 15 free toppings, which means you are free to explore and get creative by customizing your food without any additional charge. In terms of beverages, a variety of flavours for milkshakes is available, which you can also customize by mixing the flavours. You can view the full menu here.
According to CCN and Lifestyle Asia, here’s what makes Five Guys different from the other fast-food chains,
- The bread is baked fresh daily
- The patties are all homemade to retain the freshness and the juiciness
- No microwave in the store to show that the items are prepared daily
- 100% beef in accordance with an 80/20 lean beef-to-fat ratio
- Fries are hand-cut and cooked in pure peanut oil.
Marketing also reported that one of the uniqueness of Five Guys is how a variety of toppings are available in order to allow the patrons to create their very own combinations for their unique preferences.
“We strengthen our position by maintaining our commitment to consistency, quality and value as well as generosity in terms of toppings and refills,” Hugo Duyvestyn, the brand creative and social media marketing manager from Five Guys explained and revealed that there are approximately 250,000 combinations in total to choose from.
Five Guys Malaysia is pork-free and all their meats are obtained from halal-certified sources. You can find them at Lot SA – T2A – 25, Zouk Atrium, Sky Avenue, Resort World Genting.
