Generous customer donates RM200 to feed the homeless

The administrator of Nasi Kandar Sulaiman (NKS) recently took to their Facebook page to share the story of another generous donor—a customer who wished to help feed the needy.

According to the post, the customer deliberately paid RM282 for a meal that cost RM82.10, requesting that the extra funds be used to support the homeless.

The post reads:

“There was a man who, instead of RM82, scanned RM282 via the QR code. I was surprised because it was RM200 over.

“At first, I thought he had added an extra zero by mistake, but he said he intentionally paid more because he wanted me to use his money to feed the needy.”

Providing for the community

In the comments section, the admin shared that the donation was used to prepare 25 food packages, which were subsequently delivered to the “Anjung Singgah” homeless shelter.

“I believe it was the man’s first time visiting NKS, as I had never seen him before. Yet, he trusted me with this responsibility.

“He must have a kind heart to be willing to give hundreds of ringgit to help feed those in need. May he be greatly rewarded for this,” the admin said.
