Recently, a viral video surfaced showing a man deliberately dragging a cat by the neck using a rope at a condominium in Old Klang Road.
In the video, the cat can be seen with a rope around its neck, being dragged by the man as it struggled, howled, and even urinated from the excruciating pain.
“We can’t give anyone a reason to escape punishment”
Previously, Malaysia Animal Association president Arie Dwi Andika said they were alerted to the incident by the public.
Arie explained in a Facebook post that they’re asking the person who recorded the video to file a police report and help identify the suspect.

“We cannot give anyone any reason to escape punishment. The authorities have to act to serve justice,” he added.
