“We can’t give anyone a reason to escape punishment”

Previously, Malaysia Animal Association president Arie Dwi Andika said they were alerted to the incident by the public.

Arie explained in a Facebook post that they’re asking the person who recorded the video to file a police report and help identify the suspect.

On top of that, Animal Malaysia offered a RM3,000 reward for anyone who comes forward, files a report, and becomes a witness until the abuser is arrested, charged, and sentenced.

“We cannot give anyone any reason to escape punishment. The authorities have to act to serve justice,” he added.
