Cosmetics entrepreneur and controversial public figure, Nur Sajat has settled in Australia after various attempts by Malaysian authorities to bring her back failed.

Her lover, Jad Issa, was recently spotted trying to spark controversy against a senior officer of the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM).

The Lebanese national uploaded a photo on his Instagram stories (@jadooss), believed to be in mockery of Director of the Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department (JSJ), Datuk Seri Abd Jalil Hassan. The picture shows Abd Jalil with a fan hat on his head while wearing sunglasses and holding pizza and a glass in his hands.

According to Harian Metro, it is uncertain what Jad Issa’s real intention was in uploading the edited picture of Abd Jalil. However, it is believed that it has something to do with PDRM’s attempt to bring back Nur Sajat to Malaysia after she fled to Thailand.

Meanwhile, Abd Jalil told Berita Harian that he considered Jad Issa’s actions to be a normal thing he faces while working as a police officer.

“In my view, these are all bittersweet moments in my daily assignments as a police officer,” he said.

“I and the other members of the PDRM will persevere in facing this test and will carry out assignments based on national law.”
