Fighting is frowned upon and can very often land in you in jail but it looks like these two groups of people did not care about such things. Recently, a video circulating on social media showed more than 10 people fighting right in front a police station, which went viral. Very daring!

Netizens were amazed at their impulsiveness for having the audacity to start a fight right there and started speculating about the whereabouts of the place. According to Utusan Borneo, the incident reportedly happened at the police station at Batu 10, Kota Padawan in Kuching at around 8.30pm on March 25.

As a result, six men aged between 20 and 27 years old were arrested. Apparently, the men were from two groups of people who had arrived at the police station to lodge a report against each other. Sarawak Criminal Investigation Department (CID) chief Datuk Dev Kumar said preliminary investigations showed that one of the suspects had been provoked when another suspect did not allow him to pass when they were driving on the road.

The man was blocking the guy’s passage so he decided to follow him until they reached Giant Hypermarket at Batu 10. By this time, the man who was blocked was already enraged so he decided to damage the other man’s car. Chill lah!

Both parties decided to go to the police station to settle the issue and lodge a police report when suddenly, a scuffle broke out between them. The video shows them shouting and pushing each other before both sides started throwing punches.

However, the police said that both parties did not suffer any serious injuries. Meanwhile, many users also commented that the police did not do anything to stop the fight before it started. Dev said that they are currently having an internal investigation on the police’s failure to intervene and will give a more detailed statement once it is complete.

The case will be investigated under Section 427 and Section 148 for committing mischief and damage as well as for rioting.
