“Made In China” Man Arrested For Pointing Fake Pistol At Woman Who Honked At Him

A man was outraged and decided to point a ‘pistol’ towards a female driver after she had honked her car horn at him. The incident took place at Damansara Damai, on Monday.

As reported by Harian Metro, the 32-year-old man has since been arrested by the police at a house in Bandar Sri Damansara at 12.05am yesterday, 3 March.

Petaling Jaya District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Nik Ezanee Mohd Faisal said that the police received a report of the incident from a 36-year-old woman who is also an e-hailing driver.

“In the incident at 3.15pm, the victim who was driving a Perodua Aruz was on her way to pick up a passenger in Damansara Damai and sounded the horn of her car to a Proton Wira car that was moving slowly in front of her,” he said.

“As a result, the driver of the car showed an object resembling a gun through the car window,” he added.

Nik Exanee said, through the investigation, a police team raided a house and arrested the suspect involved in the incident.

He said they found a black toy pistol written ‘Made in China’ along with bullet shells around the suspect’s waist.

“After the interrogation, the suspect admitted to pointing the gun out of anger at the victim who sounded the horn against him,” he explained.

“Further examination found that the suspect did not work and had a criminal record related to drugs,” he added.

He also said the suspect was remanded for three days to assist in the investigation according to Section 506 of the Penal Code for making criminal threats.
