Sometimes, not all connections are meant to last. What we shall do (as tough as it is) is to pick ourselves up and move forward. It’s always easier said than done, especially when anger gets the best of you.
A 32-year-old Malaysian woman recently asked for a divorce with her husband and little did she know, the request sealed her fate.
Her 36-year-old husband murdered her in a hotel room in Batu Gajah, Perak, about 25 minutes from Ipoh. After the murder, the man went to the Batu Gajah police station to turn himself him.
“I’ve killed my wife,” he told the police.
PDRM immediately detained the suspect who was also found with a knife, believed to be used as the murder weapon back in the crime scene – the hotel room.
He turned himself in to the police yesterday (June 20) around 2 PM. According to PDRM, a preliminary investigation shows anger and dissatisfaction as the primary motives behind the murder.
“Suspect tried to convince and comfort his wife not to proceed with the divorce but he failed. He was not happy about the divorce,” the chief police of Batu Gajah said.
“They don’t see eye to eye”
The victim’s relative also revealed in an interview that the suspect and her were not always on the same page, which led to the deterioration of their marriage.
“They don’t see eye to eye. Cracks have shown in their marriage for a while but I never expected things to end this way. I guess they met up to discuss but it didn’t end well.”
In the meantime, PDRM also said both the suspect and victim went to the hotel separately but checked-in to the same room. The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code.
Not all connections are meant to last. If it’s salvageable, do what you should but if it’s the end, it’s best to move forward.
