Man or woman, it’s never easy to deal with a cheating partner. Resorting to physical violence, however, is never an option. A man in China recently had to pay for the consequences after letting anger dominate him while dealing with his cheating wife.

He beat his wife’s buttocks with a sports shoe for 20 minutes continuously. The wife was rushed to the hospital the next day after she complained of immense pain.

Unfortunately, she DID NOT make it. She was pronounced dead.

His wife’s buttock was not the only part that received the beating. Her hips, legs, and other parts of her body were also beaten with the same shoe.

This incident took place after the man’s wife asked for a divorce. They got into a heated argument, which then led to the husband picking up a shoe and hitting his wife repeatedly.

The man, however, admitted his mistake and reported the matter to the police before turning himself in. In court, he pleaded guilty and was willing to accept punishment. After a mediation process, the man managed to reach a compensation settlement with his late wife’s family.

However, he still has to face the law. Considering that he turned himself in and pleaded guilty, he was given leniency, reported Sina News.

For his effort to rescue his victim, forgiveness from the family, and being a 1st-time offender, he was convicted of intentional injury and was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Cheating is not an option and is not forgivable, but resorting to violence to handle the matter is never going to solve anything.
