It was a supposed normal day for Doreen, where she had planned to buy some sports attire from a famous sports wear outlet in a mall in Singapore. However, the day took a turn for the worse when she found a “pen” placed on top of the ledge of the fitting room she was trying out her new outfits in.

Upon close inspection, she found out that the “pen” had a camera lens, which meant that it was actually a hidden camera. She further explained in her Facebook post that the camera was still operating at that time as she saw light flashing and felt the heat from the body of the “pen”.

It was possible that everything she did in the changing room was recorded by the “pen”. Furious and filled with anger, she got dressed quickly, took pictures of the “pen” and confronted the guy managing the store.

However, the man had denied that the pen belonged to him. In her Facebook post, she claimed that the man begged her not to report the case to the police and had tried to snatch the “pen” from her.

Both of them got into an alleged scuffle, where he pushed her to the floor, inflicting bruises on her. He then managed to grab the “pen” and ran away. With the help of some people there, she managed to file a police report.

As reported by China Press, the man, identified as Jia Jun, also made a police report in Johor Bahru after discovering that his photo was heavily circulated on Facebook.

He admitted that he has gone through an investigation already as the incident had happened 9 months ago but there was no evidence tying him to the “pen”.

He further stated that he cannot control the actions taken by the girl, hence, that was why he made the police report.

Doreen has explained that the reason she shared about the incident because she wanted to warn other women to be cautious of their surroundings and learn to protect themselves.

Ladies, please be careful and make sure you check the fitting rooms first ok? These days, we will not know how advanced the equipments perverts will use to take advantage of all of you.
