A visitor at a petrol station in Sungai Besar, Selangor who wanted to use the restroom was shocked to find a dead infant inside the toilet bowl.

The discovery was made around 11:15 AM yesterday (March 23) at the Sungai Haji Dorani gas station, and PDRM in the district received a report about the matter at 12 PM. The gender and the race of the dead infant, however, were not identified.

Sabak Bernam district chief police, Superintendent Md Yusof Ahmad confirmed the death of the infant

PDRM may have found the suspects who dumped the baby as CCTV footage at the gas station shows a pregnant woman, who was accompanied by another woman walking into the restroom.

Both of them left in a blue Perodua Bezza but the vehicle registration number was unclear, reported Astro Awani and Berita Harian.

“The police are currently looking for the suspects. We are investigating the matter under Section 318 of the Penal Code for concealing birth by secretly disposing of a body,” Yusof said.

Previously, the incident went viral on Facebook when social media users shared images of the incident online.
