As of November 2017, over 440,000 Malaysians were barred from leaving the country after failing to repay their National Higher Education Fund loan, or commonly known as PTPTN loan.

To encourage youngsters to pay back their student loans, PTPTN has recently organised a lucky draw, where the grand prize is an eye-watering iPhone X worth over RM5,000! No seriously!

How to participate in this lucky draw and what’s the catch?

It’s simple, all you need to do is just pay back a minimum of RM1,000 within the promotion period, which is from 1st to 31st December 2017. Also, the more you pay, the higher your chances of winning the smartphones!

Here are other details you should take note of.

  • For every RM1,000 repayment you make, you’ll earn one lucky draw entry
  • You can repay the loan through any channel that’s accepted by PTPTN
  • PTPTN staff and their family members are not allowed to participate in this lucky draw
  • You’re entitled to win only one of the smartphones during the promotion period

If you’re one of the 20 lucky winners, PTPTN will notify you through any one of these channels:

  • Phone call
  • SMS
  • Email
  • Announcement on its official website

So, keep your eyes peeled if you’ve entered the lucky draw!

This is certainly an innovative way for PTPTN to motivate youngsters to repay their student loans. If you need more info about this lucky draw, do visit their official website!

Good luck guys!
