The Exchange TRX is thrilled to announce TRX Eats – a month-long celebration of the best food, drinks, and music that will take place throughout Kuala Lumpur’s newest social heart. Guests can expect specially crafted tasting menus, workshops, and live entertainment when they visit The Exchange TRX this month.
“Malaysians love to go on culinary excursions and The Exchange TRX has been designed from the onset to satisfy all types of cravings and budgets. The Exchange TRX contains five unique dining precincts – Food Exchange, Concourse Dining, Park Dining, Premium Dining, and Dining Terrace. Every dining precinct boasts its own distinctive charm and hosts a strong collection of restaurants, cafés and other exciting F&B options including international names that can only be found at The Exchange TRX,” said Jessica Leong, Head of Marketing at The Exchange TRX.

1. Unlock not one, but FIVE dining experiences
Since its opening, The Exchange TRX is fast establishing itself as a dining mecca with five distinct dining precincts offering new gastronomic experiences for guests to explore:
- FOOD EXCHANGE
Find beloved Malaysian favourites at Food Exchange. Introducing a modern twist to the traditional hawker scene, Food Exchange features a host of local delicacies rich in flavour and heritage
- CONCOURSE DINING
Concourse Dining invites guests to enjoy some of Malaysia’s favourite dining concepts from both local and international food purveyors.
- PARK DINING
Dine surrounded by the beauty and nature at TRX City Park. Park Dining features a range of unique dining concepts and alfresco dining experiences. Guests can savour every bite while being enamoured by the twinkling of Kuala Lumpur’s vibrant skyline.
- PREMIUM DINING
Premium Dining seeks to elevate your dining experience by turning it into a memorable event that will engage all senses and invigorate our guests’ innate curiosity. Premium Dining combines the gastronomy and aesthetics to treat guests to a luxurious culinary experience.
- DINING TERRACE
End the night at Dining Terrace which features a lively atmosphere and a mesmerising parade of restaurants, bars, and cafes that are open till late. The convivial atmosphere at Dining Terrace is the perfect place for guests to celebrate, masticate, and imbibe together with friends.
2. Indulge in various entertainment
“TRX Eats is a celebration of culinary diversity and social vibrancy that reflects the spirit of The Exchange TRX. More than just a retail destination, The Exchange TRX serves as a social hub that invites communities to explore, connect, and indulge in a dynamic range of gastronomic and entertainment experiences. The concept of unity and togetherness is embedded in the architecture, facilities, and programming of The Exchange TRX,” she adds.
TRX Eats also aims to feature nightlife and entertainment offers centred around the Dining Terrace. On every Saturday in May, The Exchange TRX will play host to Saturday Soiree, where guests can witness live musical performances from the popular DJ collective, Saturday Selects, or participate in quick dance classes – from Latin & Hip Hop to Disco, Tropical Groove and Jazz. Saturday Soiree promises an electrifying fusion of music, dancing and gastronomy that will continue until late.
Below are highlights of what to expect at The Exchange TRX during the month of May:
Premium dining, entertainment, and nightlife
- Amazonas will host a cocktail-making workshop allowing guests the opportunity to learn how to make their own margaritas and mojitos! Classes are free for all guests.
- Chica Bonita Elegante will be offering their Quesadillas La Diva at half price providing guests the opportunity to explore the full range of their famous quesadillas without breaking the bank.
- Elementary Restaurant & Bar will host themed nights including Lads Night Tuesdays, TGIF Fridays, culminating with Elementary on the Go on Saturday where guests can enjoy a mini Shepherd’s pie with their drink.
- Hokkaido Table will be featuring a limited-time offer of a five-course Omakase meal for only RM228.
- Las Meninas features themed evenings including Monday Blues with sangrias and tapas, romantic Tuesdate tasting menus, Ladies’ Nights with free flow of sangria, Thirsty Thursdays, and Paella & Sangria Saturdays.
- Quivo unveils an enticing array of tapas and small plates, featuring delectable options like falafel, beef kebab pita, prawn pops, lamb cutlets, and Moroccan beef brisket. Every Saturday, guests can also savour the exquisite Seafood Medley Risotto which will be prepared live for guests in a large 24-month-old wheel of Parmigiano Reggiano from Italy as a visual accompaniment to an already spectacular meal.
- Red Box Plus invites guests to have a lunchtime singing session with a delectable set lunch paired with a refreshing drink for only RM29++. This all comes with an hour of karaoke at one of Malaysia’s most luxurious venues, only at The Exchange TRX.
- Robataya seeks to elevate your dining experience with a special offer of a complimentary ebi tempura cashew nut roll or a refreshing pour of their house sake with a minimum spend of only RM150.
- Souper Tang – the masters of nourishing herbal soups – will be offering popular dishes like Panax Ginseng Chicken Soup and Signature Stone Pot Rice with complimentary desserts. Exclusively during TRX Eats, Souper Tang will also offer buy-one-free-one deals on select dishes like Buddha Jumps Over the Wall and Premium Bird’s Nest.
- Tipsy Flamingo –introduces Sundown Bubblicious from 3.00 pm till 6.00 pm every Sunday, where guests can relive their luxury vacation vibes and enjoy free-flowing Chandon.
- Tucker & Co presents a four-course tasting set for RM100++ featuring delectable options such as Cold Capellini Pasta, Mini Slipper Lobster Roll, Piri-Piri Grilled Half Spring Chicken and Sticky Date Pudding with Vanilla Ice Cream.
Café culture
- Café Colombo is hosting engaging weekend activities with Live Appam Saturdays featuring a variety of flavours and Workshop Sundays featuring a pol roti workshop for kids.
- Union Bistrot is pleased to announce a 20 per cent discount on specially curated dishes which includes their fried chicken Wafflemak, wagyu rendang bone-marrow pot pie and many others.
- VCR Stacks presents an exclusive sandwich sampler box featuring VCR Stacks’ top-selling sandwiches like Ebi Sando, Chicken Katsu, Mushroom Melts, and Pastrami Melts at only RM31.
