Back in the days, there are handful of parents who would favour their sons more than their daughters. That being said, many people could feel the biasness when they compare the treatment they receive with their siblings.

Just recently, a 33-year-old woman in Anwei, China has shared her story regarding her family. In an article, she shared that she has a food business where she sells wraps.

“I started learning how to make wraps when I was 19 and then I started selling them. I’d wake up at 4am, start preparing the ingredients and would continue to sell them until 11pm at night.

I have my own shop now and I sell about 3,000 wraps a day and, in a month, I earn about $100,000RMB (RM60,000) a month”, she said.

Despite earning that much a month, she doesn’t own a car and a house. She is also still single. She said that most of her salary would go to her family and her parents would use that money to fund her younger brother as well.

“Managing a business is difficult and I barely have time to meet anyone as I’m busy with work. I’d start considering about marriage when my brother is married”, she added.

She mentioned that her parents and brother are her priority for now and emphasised that helping her brother buy a house and a car is something she’s doing willingly.

As if she’s not done enough already, this doting sister has also transferred her shop and business to her brother’s name.

She then ended her post saying that,

“As long as my brother is happy, my parents will be happy and it’s fine even if I have to buy a smaller house for myself for the sake of their happiness.”

Do you think you could be that selfless for your family? Let us know in your comments below!
