While many are adhering to SOPs, there are still those out there who think that the pandemic is not real or deadly, with the amount of congestion we see post Hari Raya holiday, and the number of Hari Raya ‘Open Houses’.

As Covid-19 numbers continue to brave unfamiliar territory, with today registering at 6,976 fresh cases, this viral video of healthcare workers trying to save a patient’s life should be a taste of what reality looks like if we continue to disregard each other’s safety.

Uploaded on TikTok, the owner of the video informed her followers that the person who the healthcare workers tried to save, passed away.

In the comments section, a fellow netizen shared that the Covid-19 patient in the video they tried to save was his uncle.

“This was my uncle. He passed away this morning. Please pray for him.”

Still think Covid-19 should not be taken seriously? Our deepest condolences go out to those affected by the pandemic.

Let’s get serious Malaysia.
