Elderly Man Dies After His Vehicle Skids and Falls Off Third Floor Of Apartment Parking Lot In Sentul

A 63-year-old man died when the vehicle he was driving skidded and fell from the third floor of an apartment parking lot in Bandar Baru Sentul, Kuala Lumpur on 20 August.

According to Harian Metro, the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Kuala Lumpur Operations Centre received a call about the incident at 6.18pm. The victim was then pronounced dead at the scene.

Senior Operations Commander, Hafizan Hassan said nine BBP Sentul members with a machine and one EMRS arrived at the location.

“The elderly man was driving a four-wheel drive Toyota Land Cruiser believed to have hit the parking wall before his vehicle fell,” he said.

“The victim was confirmed dead by the Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) paramedic team who arrived at the location.”

Meanwhile, the victim’s body has been handed over to the police for further investigation.
