Going to Thailand is always a fun time and Malaysians love to go there as the food is great and we have multiple modes of transport that we can use to cross the border, such as car, train, plane or bus!

This couple who was travelling from Hatyai to Padang Besar, Perlis via train had to face some difficulties as the train that they were on was quite crowded.

The couple were each holding a toddler and there were no available seats for them to sit down or put down their children. Seeing this scene, an auntie from a group of Malaysian travellers quickly vacated a seat for them. The woman with a toddler sat down thankfully while the man carried his baby in his arms.

The father of the kind woman who vacated the seat then asked the man whether he could help him by holding his baby for him as the old man was worried that the baby might hit their head on the low ceiling.

When asked why they did what they did, the father-daughter pair said that they saw that the couple were in need and also, they were Malaysians as well!

When the man shared this post on Facebook, he added,

“It’s actually quite easy to live together in harmony, just that there are people who love to stir up racist stuff time after time.”

He also said that the pair is from Sungai Nibong, Penang. So, if you know this uncle and auntie, thank them for us!
