Thanks to the massage chairs available at the malls, visitors can relax and let off some steam for a bit at an affordable price with spending big bucks at massage centres.

For a woman in China, her intention to chill for a bit was cut short when an accident that could’ve cost her her life happened. In a video shared by the Chinese social media, Weibo a woman in red dress can be seen screaming in pain (and for her life) when her hair got “rolled” into the massage chair and got stuck in it.

The massage chair was still in motion!

The womanwho was in pain managed to get the public’s attention and those who could help, immediately rushed towards the woman who was slowly being “consumed” by the chair. The incident took place at 1 of the train stations in Chong Qing, China and who would’ve known her intention to take a quick rest could’ve cost her her life?

“Help me! Help me!” she continuously screamed for help.

The men who rushed towards her were seen trying to unplug the massage chair, and those who had more strength summoned all the guts they had to pull the chair away so that others could easily unplug the machine that was in motion. They managed to unplug it and the chair but the woman was still unable to move. Her hair was still stuck inside the chair.

Forcefully pulling her head out didn’t work, so there was only 1 way to save her.

Some men held the woman while 1 of them carefully cut parts of her hair off. That was not the best way but it was a matter of life and death.

Following the incident, the management of the place found out that the massage chair has malfunctioned, which explained why her hair was pulled into it. The management has immediately stopped the operation of all massage chairs in the place until further notice.

You can watch the clip here.

We can only imagine if the woman was alone at the scene, and her scalp could’ve suffered a serious injury, or the struggle could’ve broken her neck. Have you ever tried those cheap massage chairs that are placed at  malls?
