Saving a stranded animal is an opportunity for us to help out a fellow earth dweller.

Be it a dolphin lying on the beach, a seal that is of its range, an ice-bound whale, a pelican with a torn pouch or a dog in the middle of a busy intersection, helping animals out certainly leaves a warm feeling deep inside.

One netizen did just that when she saved a  baby marmoset from the middle of the road and gave it back to its mother.

Almost mistaken for dirt in the middle of the road, the man eventually saved the little guy from possible danger.

Passing the mommy marmoset’s offspring to her, mommy had a quick reunion and gave thank you glance to her saviour before embracing her offspring and taking off.

Marmosets are native to South American and have been found in Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay and Peru.

Let’s hope that baby marmoset has learnt its lesson to not wander off into unknown territory without adult supervision.
