In case you didn’t know, yesterday was Singapore’s 52nd National Day and naturally, they had a National Day Parade that entailed lots of amazing performances and of course, an awesome firework display. However, it appears that these weren’t the only noteworthy incidents that happened.
Apparently, when the event was wrapping up and the camera was panning across the stage as people were taking their bows, this little boy sure knew how to make his presence known. As the other kids were happily waving and smiling at the camera, this boy slowly but surely flipped the bird at the camera. #thuglife
The short six-second video that was shared on Facebook by a netizen about 14 hours ago has since gone viral with more than 8,000 shares. The boy looked like he was just waiting for the right opportunity as he stared at the camera and once it reached him, he pointed his middle finger straight at the lens!
However, it looks like things didn’t end well for the boy because in the same post, there is a photo of the boy standing dejectedly in front of two stern adults. It appears that they had also spotted his less-than-polite gesture and were giving him a good dressing down. Maybe he was just expressing his feelings?
Since the video has gone viral, many netizens who saw it came forward and commended the boy’s behaviour as they felt that it was hilarious. They said, “Give this boy a medal, he just became a lifetime meme!” Others said, “I always wanted to do that on TV. This boy is my hero!”
