13yo Boy Questioned by Police After CCTV Footage of Him Throwing Objects From 13th Floor of PPR Goes Viral

Police have recorded a statement from a 13‑year‑old boy who is believed to have thrown a brick from the 13th floor of the Projek Perumahan Rakyat (PPR) Seri Malaysia.

Cheras District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Mohd Rosdi Daud, said the teenager, accompanied by his parents, came to the police station to assist with investigations.

“Police have recorded the statement of the teenager. A report was received by the police on Friday from the Chairman of the PPR Sri Malaysia Residents’ Association regarding the matter,” he said in a statement.

Mohd Rosdi said initial investigations found that the teenager is believed to have thrown bricks and plastic chairs within the residential block area, causing concern and anxiety over the safety of local residents.

He added that the Task Force team from the Salak Selatan Baru Police Station was deployed to the scene to conduct further checks.

“Police have confirmed that no injuries were sustained by any individual in this incident,” he said.

Earlier, footage believed to show the teenager’s actions went viral after it was reportedly recorded by closed‑circuit television (CCTV) cameras in the residential area.
