When the news of the Kelana Jaya LRT accident broke, Malaysians were enraged with the gross negligence shown by the authorities. Prasana Chairman, Dato Sri Tajuddin Abdul Rahman’s behaviour at the press conference just seemed to anger Malaysians more.

An important matter announced in the press conference was that all 213 passengers will receive a compensation sum of RM1,000 per person irrespective of their condition. Other than that, those hospitalised will have their medical fees supported by Prasarana as well. Malaysians felt that the RM1,000 was a measly amount given the level of physical and emotional trauma the victims went through.

Given the situation, Syed Saddiq’s Parti MUDA is offering pro-bono legal services to the LRT accident victims. “Following the incident, the line of MUDA lawyers is ready to offer legal services on a pro-bono basis.”

“Those involved have a legal right to receive appropriate & commensurate compensation for the physical & mental injuries suffered.”

Those interested in these legal aid services can contact them via ym.adumitrapobfsctd-8f0978@ofni. Many Malaysians have expressed their support for the party’s cause and even encouraged the victims to accept the offer to sue the institution.
