After legalising Marijuana for medical use, Thailand is now looking to fully drive its new direction towards utilising the plant for the benefit of the country’s economy. It was announced recently that the Association of Researchers of Thailand with the members of the public and private sector would jointly organise the World Ganja Festival 2020.

The proposed location of the festival is at Mukdahan, which is located in the north-eastern part of Thailand. As reported by The Thaiger, in the agreement that was signed by the three parties, the date of the festival will be between 29th January and 2nd February 2020.

The objective of the festival is to be a platform for people to discuss the benefits of cannabis as well as help to promote Thailand as the leading developer of quality marijuana strains.

The World Ganja Festival 2020 will be covering everything from academic seminars, innovations, business negotiations, product design competitions and even a music festival.
