The Terengganu State Health Department (JKNT) announced that 48 healthcare workers at Sultanah Nur Zahirah Hospital, Kuala Terengganu, tested positive for Covid-19.

Additionally, the hospital’s Director, Dr. Nor Azimi Yunus, said that the infected workers had been separated and given treatment.

He also said that the hospital is currently looking at close contacts and announced that investigations are underway to identify the cause of the infection.

In a media statement released by JKNT, “Patient treatment as HSNZ is still ongoing and under control.”

“Additionally, Intensive Care Units (ICUs), operating rooms, and emergency services are still running.”

The Emergency and Trauma Department is temporarily closed, beginning 29th January 2021.

Let’s do our part and protect our frontliners by establishing whether we are infected with Covid-19 to healthcare workers.
