JUST IN: Malaysia Records New-High With 5,725 Covid-19 Cases & 16 Deaths

The Ministry of Health (MOH) informed that there were 5,725 new Covid-19 cases reported today. According to the MOH, the new positive cases are the highest ever reported.

From the MOH’s Facebook page, Selangor records the highest number of cases with 3,126 cases and followed by Kuala Lumpur at 687 cases.

Out of the 5,725 new cases, 5,268 were local cases while seven cases are imported.  There are 3,423 new recovery cases which bring up the total recovery to 157,722 cases. Total deaths recorded today are 16 cases thus the cumulative death cases are now 733 cases.

301 patients are admitted in the ICU and 115 cases require respiratory aids.
