A 74-year-old grandma was reported to be raped by the suspect, a 32-year-old man, who came with his wife to visit her as the grandma was sick.
The man, who is known by the initials BA, came to visit the grandma at Baktinya, North Acheh on 24th July, as reported by Kompas.
Police spokesman Ipda Mahmud said that upon their meeting, the grandma had complained about pain in her stomach. The wife of the suspect recommended she get treated by her husband, who is a shaman.
“While in the process of treatment, the man had made the grandma to take a bath before lying in a room. His wife, on the other hand, was sent away to pick some vegetables outside of the house,” said Ipda.
“The man then took the chance to rape the grandma in the room.”

After raping the poor grandma, the suspect composedly went out before asking his wife to go back home together.
Ipda added that the suspect was apprehended after the victim lodged a police report the next day.
“The suspect has now been apprehended, and he himself had admitted to the crime done,” he said.
What a vile man! These rapists truly are monsters! Hopefully, justice will prevail.
