After leaving Malaysia for Australia for nearly 2 years now, did Sajat just have an unpleasant encounter with the authorities abroad?

Just recently, it was reported that Sajat was arrested at 6am at her house in Australia for carrying an invalid passport.

Back then, Sajat was arrested by the immigration department in Thailand for the same reason. This time, is history bound to repeat itself even when she found a new home abroad in 2021?

The controversial entrepreneur, who is now a drag performer in Australia has since responded to her “arrest” by calling it fake news and saying that people don’t always figure things out.

“When people talk about fake news, you know, a lot of folks just roll their eyes, like ‘Oh, you know, whatever!! People will figure it out. The truth is, they don’t always figure it out.”

Sajat then continued and labelled the inaccurate information that was displayed on the internet as propaganda, misinformation, and disinformation which have always been part of political warfare. To make things worse, Sajat blamed it on social media and other new platforms which breed fake news and give them a “new life”.

“The fake news phenomenon can reach through everywhere!”

If you browse through Sajat’s updates on her Instagram account, there are no indication that she is being deported back to Malaysia or being arrested for carrying an invalid passport. She continues to live her life freely in her new home – socialising, partying, and working.

“Leave Sajat alone”

In the meantime, some netizens also showed support to Sajat and urge those who spread fake news to leave Sajat alone – a phrase that has been on the internet since she moved to Australia.

“Please, people, leave her alone. Whatever she’s doing, it’s between her and her God. You might as well think about gaining a passive income with the current state of the economy.”

“The screening part prior to entering Australia is no joke. You need to have a Visa and in her case, she needs to have a government-granted Protection Visa. Whatever issue you have with her, don’t feed it with fake news. Be smart.”

You can’t make everyone like you and that is the harsh through everyone needs to accept. Perhaps it’s time for the haters to leave Sajat alone.
