There’s always a first for everything.

When it comes to our parents, it would always lead us to tears, especially as they are getting older. As time goes by, we should always appreciate them and spend the best we can while they are still around.

A Facebook post recently went viral after it warmed the hearts of netizens.

This Facebook post by Lee Fong Yeen showcases a son finally being able to repay his father by bringing him to the city of Kuala Lumpur for the very first time.

“For the first time in my life, I took my dad to see the scenery of Kuala Lumpur…
Seriously my dad,
For the first time, he took the cable car
For the first time, he watched the scenery of Kuala Lumpur
The first time I went to Genting Banshan Temple
For the first time, I walked at Genting for 2 hours
For the first time, I saw the rainbow stairs (Batu Caves)
For the first time, he watched me take pictures seriously
For the first time, he became his child’s outdoor model…
So many for the first time, only when my dad is old can I have this chance…
When a child is young, the parents take the child out to eat, drink and have fun. When the child grows up, parents too must go to see the outside world…
As children, what did you do with your parents for the first time?”

He ended his post by asking, “As children, what did you do with your parents for the first time?” That question has lingered in the minds of many since.

This Malaysian born and raised in Tanah Merah, Kelantan told us how delighted he was seeing his 68-year-old father happy after finally stepping foot in Kuala Lumpur.
