The Malaysia Animal Association has taken to its Facebook page to call on authorities to take action against a man who threw 2 Molotov cocktails at a house in Puchong on Monday (April 7).
One of the Molotov cocktails ended up landing directly on a pet dog inside the house’s compound, causing it to get trapped among the flames and run in fear. Whether the dog sustained injuries and the extent of those injuries are unknown.
The man’s motives and whether he threw the Molotov cocktail at the dog on purpose are also unknown.

The Malaysia Animal Association wrote, “A dog was almost burned after a man threw Molotov cocktails to burn down a house. This incident was reported to have occurred in Puchong, Selangor, today (April 7).”
“In addition to acts of treachery and intimidation, the Royal Malaysia Police has also been advised to open an investigation paper and apply the Animal Welfare Act 2015 for causing threats and fear towards an animal (the dog).”
