The differently-abled man who was severely assaulted at a morning market in Chukai, Terengganu, is now sharing further details about the incident that shook the nation.
According to Berita Harian, 47-year-old Ahmad Nor Al Faizan shared that a kick from someone had allegedly caused his motorcycle to crash into the fried noodle stall, which ultimately led to his assault.
It was initially reported that the crash was caused by him riding dangerously in the market.

“Ask the person who kicked my motorcycle. That person is why my motorcycle skidded and crashed into the fried noodle stall,” he said.
For him, this all started when he was riding through the market to assist a friend in making a Nasi Minyak delivery.
“I was riding my motorcycle while inspecting the sales of the traders in the area and during the third round, someone suddenly kicked my motorcycle from behind. When I fell, I was beaten, kicked and dragged badly. To this day, I wonder why they dared to beat me like that,” he explained.

They pushed his face into a heap of spilt noodles
He went on to share that, apart from being beaten, he felt saddened that his face was smashed into the fried noodles that were spilt onto the road during the crash.
“They should have picked up my motorcycle when I fell, but no, they had beaten me up. I told them several times that there was no point in beating me up as I didn’t mean for the crash to happen, and that they should look for the person who kicked my motorcycle,” he added.

He also repeatedly apologised and said he would compensate the fried noodle seller for their losses. However, his pleas were ignored.
“When I was thrown onto the fried noodles (spilt) on the road, I held my breath and tried to hold my face with my hands because of the pain, this was before an individual poured fried noodles onto my head,”
“This caused my eyes to sting a lot and I asked for water to wash my face before I was kicked in the head again,” he said.
Ahmad Nor Al Faizan believes the actions of those who had beaten him up were very cruel and that the matter could have easily been discussed amicably, especially considering he was willing to pay for the damages caused by the crash.
