M’sian Teen Allegedly Goes Into a Seizure After Being Hit With Chairs By Friends at Seremban Eatery

Recently, a video has been circulating online showing a group of friends getting into a brawl after a heated verbal argument, reportedly over personal issues, at a restaurant in Seremban.

According to Sinar Harian, the Seremban District Police received a complaint from a 17-year-old boy at 4:25 PM last Monday, who claimed to have been beaten up by 2 boys he knew.

The victim was beaten with chairs

Based on the reports, while the victim was at a restaurant, he was attacked by 2 of his friends, aged 16 and 18, who assaulted him using their hands and even struck him with chairs.

Seremban District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Mohamad Hatta Che Din, explained that the investigation revealed the incident occurred around 11 PM last Sunday when the victim was at a restaurant in Jalan Tok Ungku.

The 2 suspects have been identified

In the video, the victim is seen hitting one of the suspects with a plastic chair, which escalated the situation. The suspect then threw the victim to the ground with such force that the victim appeared to have experienced seizures.

According to Kosmo, the victim, who sustained injuries to his body and head, received medical treatment at Tuanku Ja’afar Seremban Hospital.

The authorities have identified the 2 suspects involved, and efforts to locate and arrest them are currently underway. The case is being investigated under Section 324 of the Penal Code and is classified as an incident of causing injury.
