A man in a Johor Bahru condominium was caught in the act recently when he took an upskirt video of a Thai woman.
In the viral video currently circulating on social media, the man is seen approaching the unsuspecting woman who was unlocking her grille as he tries to take an upskirt video of her.
He stopped what he was doing when another man saw him and shouted “Hello! Are you okay?”, prompting him to walk away from the woman and pretend as if nothing happened while putting his mobile phone back into his pocket.
The Thai woman had no idea what was going on and went into her unit.
Fired from work and making a police report
It didn’t take long for Malaysian social media users to find out about the man, and it didn’t take long for the man’s employers to take notice of the matter too.
In an official statement by the management of his workplace, they confirmed that the man who attempted to take an upskirt video of the woman has been terminated from the company, effective yesterday (October 22).
The man, who was a sales agent of the company was terminated for “serious violations of company policies and relevant laws.”
As per reports by China Press and Kwong Wah, it is also revealed that the man who tried taking upskirt pictures had lodged a police report, out of concern for his safety following the circulation of the matter.
In the police report, the man admitted to taking an upskirt video of the unsuspecting Thai woman but said that he had since deleted the video.
“I am lodging this report out of fear for my safety in the future.”
At the time of writing (October 23), PDRM has yet to release a statement about the matter.
