Imagine this, you are away overseas and carrying on life as usual, only for reality to strike, revealing that someone dear to you has passed on.

That is what Lance-Corporal Mohd Noh went through when he was informed that his wife succumbed to her illness and passed away four hours before he arrived at KLIA.

Attending peace duties with the MALBATT 850-7 in Lebanon, Lance-Corporal Mohd Noh Bin Samsudin made his way home after being informed that his wife, Norhidayah Binti Amishammydin, was gravely ill due to a lung infection.

Having passed away at 7 pm, 17th September 2020, Lance-Corporal Mohd Noh arrived at the airport four hours later, unable to be with his wife in her last moments.

Unquestionably an ordeal most of us could only imagine, images of Mohd Noh paying his last respects to his beloved wife was shared by Facebook page MyJointForce.

Clad in full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Mohd Noh was able to see his wife for the last time with help from the Ministry of Health and the Angkatan Tentera Malaysia (ATM).

In their heartfelt message to Mohd Noh, Commander of the MALBATT 850-7, Colonel Khairul Anwar Bin Soib shared his condolences at the loss of Mohd Noh and thanked everyone involved for making Mohd Noh’s journey back to his late wife went smoothly.

Our condolences go out to the family of Lance-Corporal Mohd Noh and his family.
