Sometimes, children can wander off and get lost even if their parents are very attentive. This can happen easily, especially in crowded places. But who are we to assume the cause behind the incident? The best thing we could do is help with the situation in any way we can.

As reported by The Star, the Kajang police quickly announced that they were looking for the parents of a two-year-old girl who was found wandering alone around Jalan Taman Megah 2a through all the relevant platforms and immediately, the mother of the girl contacted the police after seeing the post about her missing daughter online.

Kajang OCPD Asst Comm Ahmad Dzaffir Mohd Yusoff told The Star,

ā€œThe mother had contacted the police after news of her missing child spread on social media.Ā She presented herself to the police district headquarters here at 9pm on Friday to claim her daughter. Documents were produced that supported her claim.Ā Based on her statement, the girl had left the house on her own while playing outside. The front door was closed but unlocked.ā€

Kudos to the police for their swift action as well as the public who have helped spread the word. Every little achievement deserves a celebration and let’s take this as a reminder, that if we work together, we can do wonders.
