Here are the headlining acts that’ll set the NYE vibes at the Countdown Party:
Henry Lau
Henry first gained his fame as a member of Super Junior-M (the Chinese subunit of South Korean boy group Super Junior), but it was his versatile skills with the violin, piano and dance that propelled him further to stardom, as evident in his hit songs “Trap” (featuring SHINee’s Taemin and Super Junior’s Kyuhyun) and “Fantastic,”. This marks the second time the Chinese heartthrob will be performing in Malaysia, having performed at the 9 Wave Music Festival late last year, with K-pop stars like (G)I-DLE and Xiumin of Exo.
Capital Cities
Every Malaysian would know (and love) Capital Cities’ hit single “Safe And Sound“, with its catchy electro-pop sound capturing the hearts of Malaysians–it’s no wonder the song reached the top 10 in multiple countries and earned a coveted spot on the Billboard Hot 100. The synth-pop duo’s sound is a blend of heart-thumping electronic beats and sensible indie-pop, resulting in upbeat, feel-good music that reminds us of the significance of positivity and resilience.

Even as we merrily welcome the beginning of a new year, The Exchange TRX reminds Malaysians to also not forget to help the community, inviting shoppers to support Kechara Soup Kitchen’s community-focused efforts.
Kechara Soup Kitchen is a Malaysian NGO that provides food, basic necessities, and other forms of support to the homeless and urban poor. They’ve been around since 2008, operating on a non-religious basis to help individuals regain independence through empowerment programmes and emergency aid.
In the spirit of starting the new year on the right foot, the good folks at The Exchange TRX encourage guests to contribute to this cause that will aid the food distribution efforts and outreach to Malaysia’s Indigenous communities. End the year with a bang at The Exchange TRX NYE Countdown Party, where you can finally shop and dine until the new year (literally) with over 70 tenants extending their hours until 1AM for your shopping enjoyment! Take your pick from F&B outlets serving a variety of flavourful options like Warung Eropa, Tarbush Restaurant, and Amazonas. - Entry is FREE, so no tickets are required–be sure to arrive early to secure your spot (queueing starts at 12PM while the gate opens at 4.30PM)
- Make sure to bring along your IC for verification purposes at the entrance
- You can catch the show from two distinct vantage points—the Raintree Plaza and TRX City Park.
- Raintree Plaza: The heart of the action, where you can immerse yourselves in live performances, breathtaking fireworks, and dazzling laser shows. If you’re a Lendlease Plus MY loyalty member, you’ll have access to the Members Zone for an up-close view of the concert.
- TRX City Park: A family-friendly space where attendees of all ages can enjoy a scenic setting and soak in the festivities. If you’re an Enthusiast, Insider, or Inspirer loyalty member, you can enjoy panoramic views of the fireworks and a live broadcast of the main event at the Viewing Lawn at Sunlight Plaza.
Access is on a first-come, first-served basis with capacity limits in place, so you might want to plan your journey there if you’d like to secure the best spots for the countdown!
