Late-Night Shop & Dine, Concert, Fireworks & More at The Exchange TRX! Don’t Miss This NYE Party

“It’s already December?!” That’s right, which means there’s a super happening New Year’s Eve Countdown Party at The Exchange TRX that we think everyone should check out!

Late-night shopping and dining, FREE entry to Henry Lau and Capital Cities’ live performances, and more await you at The Exchange TRX New Year’s Eve Countdown Party, happening @ Raintree Plaza TRX on 31 December, from 4.30PM onwards.

If you love to shop, makan, stay up late for the New Year fireworks, and/or listen to international artists LIVE in person, then this NYE party is perfect for you. Here’s everything you need to know:

1. The (mid)night comes to life!

Once the clock reaches 5PM, catch the main event of The Exchange TRX NYE Countdown Party, where an exciting lineup of international artists awaits to hype up your NYE.

Here are the headlining acts that’ll set the NYE vibes at the Countdown Party:

Henry Lau

Henry first gained his fame as a member of Super Junior-M (the Chinese subunit of South Korean boy group Super Junior), but it was his versatile skills with the violin, piano and dance that propelled him further to stardom, as evident in his hit songs “Trap” (featuring SHINee’s Taemin and Super Junior’s Kyuhyun) and “Fantastic,”. This marks the second time the Chinese heartthrob will be performing in Malaysia, having performed at the 9 Wave Music Festival late last year, with K-pop stars like (G)I-DLE and Xiumin of Exo.

Capital Cities

Every Malaysian would know (and love) Capital Cities’ hit single “Safe And Sound“, with its catchy electro-pop sound capturing the hearts of Malaysians–it’s no wonder the song reached the top 10 in multiple countries and earned a coveted spot on the Billboard Hot 100. The synth-pop duo’s sound is a blend of heart-thumping electronic beats and sensible indie-pop, resulting in upbeat, feel-good music that reminds us of the significance of positivity and resilience.

Ashley Lau

Aside from this dynamic duo, other local music acts who’ll be gracing the stage to wow their fellow countrymen include Ashley Lau and Aidaho, Joe Flizzow & SonaOne, K-Town Clan, Daiyan Trisha, NYK, Yuji ft. Putri Dahlia, P A L E N C I A and Saint Kylo! From electrifying hip-hop beats to soul-stirring vocal performances, this star-studded lineup will surely keep you dancing all night.

Throw in a couple of dazzling fireworks and stunning laser shows, and you have the ultimate NYE Countdown Party to end 2023A with!

2. Choose to be kinder this new year!

Even as we merrily welcome the beginning of a new year, The Exchange TRX reminds Malaysians to also not forget to help the community, inviting shoppers to support Kechara Soup Kitchen’s community-focused efforts.

Kechara Soup Kitchen is a Malaysian NGO that provides food, basic necessities, and other forms of support to the homeless and urban poor. They’ve been around since 2008, operating on a non-religious basis to help individuals regain independence through empowerment programmes and emergency aid.

In the spirit of starting the new year on the right foot, the good folks at The Exchange TRX encourage guests to contribute to this cause that will aid the food distribution efforts and outreach to Malaysia’s Indigenous communities. How to join? Easy! Donations can be made on-site via Kechara’s official website with payment reference ‘TRXNYE’.

3. Shop & dine ’till you drop until 2025

End the year with a bang at The Exchange TRX NYE Countdown Party, where you can finally shop and dine until the new year (literally) with over 70 tenants extending their hours until 1AM for your shopping enjoyment! Take your pick from F&B outlets serving a variety of flavourful options like Warung Eropa, Tarbush Restaurant, and Amazonas. Or if retail therapy is in your mind, shop from retail brands like Kate Spade New York, Aesop, and Coach.

Whether you want to satisfy your inner night owl by shopping at your favourite time or taking your family out for a classy late-night supper to ring in the new year, it’s the kind of countdown party that every type of Malaysian can enjoy. Plus, how often do you get to shop at an atas mall at midnight?

Plus, the TRX City Park will be open for their NYE celebration. So if you prefer ‘partying’ ’till the New Year with a cooling late-night stroll or simply looking for a place to lepak before the fireworks and concert, you can’t go wrong with TRX City Park.
