Let this be an important lesson to anyone planning on withdrawing a large sum of money from the bank!

In a report by the New Straits Times, a 45-year-old man was robbed of RM50,000 in Taman Mount Austin, Johor yesterday afternoon.

The man, who works as a company director, withdrew the large amount of cash to pay his employees working under his company.

He kept the money in a plastic bag and then hid it under the driver’s seat of his car before going to a nearby stall for lunch.

Haiyo! Who hides so much money in their car lah?!

“About two minutes later, someone informed him that the window of his car had been smashed,” said Johor’s Criminal Investigation Department chief.

According to eyewitness reports, the money was stolen by two men on a motorcycle, who reportedly smashed the man’s car windows.

However, none of the witnesses were able to note the robbers’ license plate in time.

We hope those robbers will be caught soon so the man’s employees can receive their pay.

Let’s hope Malaysians have all learned a valuable lesson from this man’s mistakes and not leave such huge amounts of money in their cars!
