The wife left their baby alone with her husband

Sinar Harian reported that the suspect’s 24-year-old wife reported the incident to the police earlier this month.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the wife had left their baby in her husband’s care while she went out shopping.

Upon returning to the car, she was shocked to find their child lifeless, believed to have been strangled, and immediately rushed to the hospital.

The suspect’s motive remains unknown

Central Java Police spokesperson Kombes Pol Artanto explained that the baby’s grave had been exhumed for a detailed investigation to determine the exact cause of death.

“The child was pronounced dead at the hospital. The suspect has been arrested and will be questioned,” he said.

As of now, the suspect’s motive is still under investigation.

“This case will follow the established procedures regardless of the suspect’s status,” Artanto added.
