Of all the wrongdoings related to the pandemic – the few who do not adhere to SOPs, the refusal to wear masks and those who continuously flaunt quarantine – what gets most of us the greatest in the aftermath of all this, is the fact that those affected are left to die alone.

Such as the story of one netizen who shared his father’s last words on social media which would leave anyone in tears, imagining if this situation would happen to themselves.

The victim, case number 325, left a note for his family, which was shared after his burial service was done.

“I cry every time I read this. It was abah’s last words to all of us before he passed away last Monday.”

Written on a piece of recycled paper his Abah wrote, “Please pray for me. I’m sorry.”

“Please take care of yourself.”

Taking to Facebook, the netizen shared that there were still several family members currently undergoing treatment for Covid-19.

“Please pray for my family members still warded for Covid-19, may they all be given the best of health and is kept safe from the pandemic.”

Our condolences go out to those affected by Covid-19 and may others be blessed with the gift of health to weather through the ‘storm’.
