A Malaysian woman was recently stopped by an on-duty officer while riding her motorcycle late at night. However, the encounter quickly took an inappropriate turn when the officer allegedly suggested spending the night together.

The uniformed officer invited the woman to check into a hotel.

In a viral video discreetly recorded by the woman, the officer can be heard asking where she was staying. He also invited her to hang out at his place in Keramat, Kuala Lumpur, and attempted to get her social media handles, which she refused to share.

When his invitation was rejected, the officer allegedly asked her to spend just 10 minutes with him at a nearby staircase. The woman tried to deflect by saying:

“Maybe tomorrow.”

The officer then insisted, saying he wanted to spend time with her immediately. The woman told him she needed to leave as she had work the next day.

She initially intended to lodge a police report but changed her mind after allegedly being dismissed by the authorities.

She shared, “The police accused me of always going to clubs, so they said it’s normal for men to invite me to check in. It pissed me off.”

“I left the station immediately. The next time we meet someone like this, let’s just make it viral.”

The woman also expressed her frustration, saying she felt that authorities tend to protect one another.
