A Malaysian woman has come forward to speak out against her Karate coach, who allegedly molested her under the pretense of “massaging her legs.”

A police report was recently filed by the 20-year-old victim, who said the situation began with sexual jokes from her coach, remarks she initially dismissed as harmless. The victim, Sara (pseudonym), said she ignored the jokes because she had always respected her coach.

Sara, who has been part of the martial arts club in Selangor for four years, said the coach offered to massage her leg after she injured it during training.

“I went to the medic, and after that, he said he could massage me to help with the injury. I allowed him because he had never shown any bad intentions toward me.”

However, during the massage, the coach allegedly touched her private parts.

Sara was alone with the coach at the time and didn’t know how to react. Initially, she didn’t tell anyone—not even her parents or boyfriend. The situation escalated when the coach found out that Sara had a boyfriend.

He allegedly slapped her and spat in her face.

In a brief conversation with WORLD OF BUZZ, Sara said the management of the martial arts centre is aware of the incident and has taken action against the coach.

When asked about her ongoing classes, Sara confirmed she is still attending Karate lessons at the same center.

“I am still there, but a different coach has been assigned to me,” she told WORLD OF BUZZ.

Sara also shared that she was initially pressured to keep the matter to herself until her boyfriend learned about her traumatic experience.
