PAS Youth Chief lauds Muhyiddin for his services following the former Prime Minister’s resignation as PN Chairman

“All of Tan Sri’s services and contributions during his previous leadership of PN and Malaysia will always be remembered and cherished.”

“Saving the country from the COVID-19 pandemic and restoring it so that we can return to life as it is today. These are great services for all of us. History cannot be changed,” he stated in a Facebook post today (30 December).

He said that any discomfort or offence caused in the past was unintentional, emphasising that his remarks were not personal but made in the interest of the shared cause.

The PAS Youth Chief is hopeful for PN’s future

Afnan noted that his respect for Muhyiddin has always remained intact, even though he has previously voiced disagreements over the coalition’s direction.

“Even if the ship’s captain changes, the vessel must continue to sail through waves and storms until it reaches its destination.”

In Muhyiddin’s statement today, the former Prime Minister also thanked all leaders in PN for their continuous support. Muhyiddin, however, did not state the reason behind his resignation from the post.
